Used Laptop Price in Pakistan (Updated October 2026)
The used laptop price in Pakistan depends on one thing more than anything else: the processor generation. At SNSV Laptop, a used laptop costs anywhere from about Rs. 17,000 for a basic Chromebook to about Rs. 85,000 for a business laptop with an 11th- or 12th-gen Core processor. Most of our 6th to 8th Gen Core i5 and i7 laptops fall between Rs. 33,000 and Rs. 63,000.
Whether you call it used, second-hand, or 2nd hand, it means the same thing: a laptop that had an owner before you. Below you will find what each generation costs in our stock today, what to expect at different budgets, why two similar-looking laptops can have different prices, and how to check a used laptop before you pay for it.

The jump to watch is from 7th to 8th Gen. That is where official Windows 11 support begins, and it is also where prices start to climb.
What you can buy at each budget
Under Rs. 30,000. At this price, you are mostly looking at a Chromebook, a Pentium laptop, or an older 2-in-1 with a Core m3 chip. They are fine for browsing, online classes, and documents, but do not expect much more from them. You can see them all on our laptops under Rs. 30,000 page.
Rs. 30,000 to 45,000. This is the biggest group of laptops in our stock, and the best place to look if you want a dependable business laptop on a tight budget. Laptops in this range are mostly 6th and 7th Gen Core i5 models with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD, like the Lenovo ThinkPad T470. There is also one 8th Gen option, the Toshiba Portege X30-E, at around Rs. 40,000.
Rs. 45,000 to 65,000. Here you reach 8th and 10th Gen business laptops, such as the HP EliteBook 840 G5, the HP EliteBook 840 G6, and the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s.
Rs. 65,000 to 85,000. These are the newest laptops we stock: 11th and 12th Gen models like the Toshiba Portege X30W-J, the HP EliteBook 840 G8, and the Dell Latitude 5530. They make sense if you want a laptop that should stay useful for longer.
Why two laptops with the same Core i5 can have different prices
A Core i5 from 2016 and a Core i5 from 2021 are very different laptops, even though the label is the same. Newer generations are faster, more efficient, and have better graphics, so the generation moves the price more than the i5 or i7 label does. Our Core i3 vs i5 vs i7 guide explains this in more detail.
After the generation, the price follows the RAM and SSD size, the screen (touch and Full HD models cost more), the series (business models like Latitude, EliteBook, ThinkPad and Portege cost more than basic home laptops) and the condition of the body. Battery health is easy to overlook, and it is worth checking before you pay.
Used laptop price by brand
Dell Latitude laptops start from around Rs. 21,000, Lenovo ThinkPads from around Rs. 34,000, and Toshiba (now Dynabook) Portege and Tecra laptops from around Rs. 33,000. HP EliteBook and other HP business laptops start from around Rs. 47,000. Business series like these are built to be used all day, which is why they are popular on the used market. We also stock MacBook, Asus, Samsung and Acer laptops.
How to check a used laptop before you pay
A few minutes of checking can save you from most bad buys.
- Find the generation. The number after i5 or i7 in the model name tells you the generation. Our guide to checking laptop generation shows how.
- Confirm the specs. Open Settings > System > About and make sure the processor, RAM, and storage match the listing. Our guide to checking laptop specifications covers more ways.
- Check the battery. Run
powercfg /batteryreportin Command Prompt and compare Design Capacity with Full Charge Capacity (here is how). A big gap means the battery is worn. - Look at the storage. An SSD makes a laptop feel much faster than an old hard disk.
- Test the hardware. Check the screen, touch, keyboard, touchpad, ports, webcam, and speakers.
- Check Windows and the return terms. Confirm the Windows version, and read the seller’s Refund & Returns Policy before you pay.
Is a 6th or 7th Gen laptop still worth buying in 2026?
For the right use, yes. Windows 10 stopped getting security updates on October 14, 2025 (PureInfotech explains what that means), and Windows 11 officially supports 8th Gen Intel Core processors and newer (Microsoft’s supported processor list).
A 6th or 7th Gen laptop still handles office documents, browsing, online classes, and video calls without trouble. The catch is that it is not officially supported by Windows 11, and many of ours ship with Windows 10 Pro (the Windows version is written on each product page). If official Windows 11 support matters to you, start at 8th Gen, for example with the Toshiba Portege X30-E at around Rs. 40,000.
